Desiccation

Caused when unnatural salt from the Salt Desert enters the body. Save vs Poison or experience cracking skin and thirst for 1d4 days. If it enters the body again while already afflicted, Save vs Poison or be desiccated: lose 2d4-1 Strength. Every month, Save vs Poison to recover.

Egocide

The Self slouches like wet dust behind the eyes. Inflicted by some kinds of basilisks and infohazards, among others. Save vs Will or lose 1d6 Charisma and Will Save is reduced to 3. Every week, Save vs Will to recover.

Ochreblood

Blood turns a rusty yellow and is rendered foreign to magical healing. Caused when infected fluids enter the body. Save vs Poison or become infected: HP cannot be recovered from magical sources. Recovery requires replacing all of the infected's blood within an hour.

Sinew Worms

Threadlike parasites that subsist on muscle dynamics. Vector is infected meat when not cooked or finely chopped. Save vs Poison or become infected: lose 1d4 Dexterity and take 1d4 damage whenever you perform prolonged strenuous activity. Recovery requires killing the worms, usually via poison.

Snowskin

Skin becomes white and flaky with a lack of sensation akin to the numbness of frost. When breathing in snowskin dust, Save vs Poison or become infected on a body part (randomly select any limb, head, or torso). If limb, lose 1d4 Strength; if head, lose 1d4 Wisdom; if torso, lose 1d4 Constitution. The skin of the infected part fully disintegrates after 2d6 months, crumbling into fine infectious dust. No known cure, only removal of infected skin.

Petrification

Flesh and bone become heavy and hardened like concrete, caused by motes that dwell in limelizard saliva. Save vs Poison or a limb becomes petrified over the course of 1d4 hours. If afflicted while petrified, Save vs Poison or the entire body becomes petrified over 1d4 days as internals rot inside. Recovery requires killing the mote colony before death.
